The New Hall team lost 9-11 against Loughborough Leys New Hall 2 last night, in a closely fought contest.
After drawing 10-10 in the away fixture back in November, the team knew it would be another match played with fine margins. Croakers were down 5-7 after the singles and doubles games and couldn't quite overturn that lead, drawing the mixed games 4-4. The team was composed of Samira, Ayesha, Jing, Henri, Raheel and Lee. That was the last match of a successful season in division 2. The number one priority was to stay in the division and that has been achieved, so well done to everyone who contributed to a successful campaign. I'm sure David, the team captain, would like to pass on his thanks. Here's to another successful season in 2016/17. It's been over a month since their last match, but Croakers' New Hall team blew the dust from a scoresheet and won 15-5 against Hermitage Lakeside New Hall 1 on Friday.

Croakers' New Hall team was handed another win as Meltonshire New Hall 2 conceded Friday's match. That means Meltonshire has conceded both matches this season, gifting our New Hall team two wins and 40 points. That's very generous and gratefully accepted.

After losing 3-17 to Loughborough Leys' New Hall 1 team back in October, a draw against the New Hall 2 team is a positive result. However, the team came away thinking they could've won the match, ruing some of the games that were lost. The team was composed of Caroline, Ayesha, Claire, Henri, Raheel and Lee. The next match is against Meltonshire New Hall 2 on Friday 22nd January. Croakers’ New Hall team won 14-6 against Hermitage Lakeside New Hall 1 last night, earning valuable points in a tough division.
Croakers made an excellent start, leading 9-3 heading into the mixed games, which the team won 5-3. Thanks to Ayesha, Samira, Claire, Lee, Raheel and Joel for their efforts. The next match is against Loughborough Leys New Hall 2 on Friday 27th November. On Friday last week, our New Hall team lost 3-17 to a strong Loughborough Leys New Hall 1 team and came away with more injury woes.
Before the match even started, both teams were without a third lady and the relevant games were conceded. Unfortunately, during the first ladies' doubles game, Jing rolled her ankle and was unable to continue, which meant that the remaining games involving Jing were also conceded. We wish Jing a speedy recovery. The team was composed of Caroline, Jing, David, Alex and Lee. The next match is against Hermitage Lakeside on Friday 13th November (oh dear). The new season is now well underway and a number of matches have taken place over the last couple of weeks. Let's read the match reports.
