The 2014/15 season has come to an end and the final League tables have been released. Although there appears to be few results missing from the division reports, let’s take a look at what will probably be the final standings for our teams. Ladies
Unfortunately the Ladies team has been relegated to division 3 after a tough and frustrating season. The relegation battle went down to the wire, but after losing the deciding match against Longslade Stoneygate Ladies 2, the team’s fate was sealed. Back luck, ladies, here’s to successful 2015/16 campaign. Ladies Division Report - 30 April 2015 (PDF) Men After what looked like being mid-table obscurity earlier in the year, the Mens 1 team have actually finished as runners-up in division 5b behind a strong Huncote Mens 1 team. This is a positive result considering the team has suffered from an unsettled team for many of the matches. Promotion next season? Getting a settled and consistent line-up will be key. Unfortunately the Mens 2 team has been relegated from division 5a. They also suffered from an unsettled team for most of the season and found it hard to compete against the other teams in division 5a. Mens Division Report - 30 April 2015 (PDF) Mixed The Mixed 1 team will probably finish as runners-up in division 4. There are still a few results outstanding in that division, but Mixed 1 should have enough points to secure their position in the table. There were high hopes Mixed 1 could win promotion, but unfortunately they couldn’t hold on to the top spot in a competitive division. They’ll be looking to win promotion next season. The Mixed 2 team fell just short of promotion in division 5a, finishing as runners-up to Leicester University Mixed 2. The season started well, winning the first two games in impressive style and although the team achieved a perfect home record, winning only one away match was the deciding factor. Mixed Division Report - 30 April 2015 (PDF) New Hall Our New Hall team has won promotion to division 2 next season. They topped division 3 with a perfect record of 10 wins out of 10. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to a successful New Hall campaign. New Hall Division Report - 30 April 2015 (PDF) Comments are closed.
