Mixed 1 still searching for first win

​Croakers’ Mixed 1 team lost 2-7 against Longslade Stoneygate Mixed 4 last night and are still searching for their first win in division 4.

After losing the first two matches of the season to Croakers’ own Mixed 2 team, the Mixed 1 team were hoping to kick-start their season against Longslade Stoneygate’s Mixed 4 team. However, both Ayesha & Lee and Samira & Jed were only able to win a rubber each, although many of the games were close in the other rubbers. Anna & Alex were unable to win a rubber, but fought bravely.

Mixed 1 have had an unsettled start to the season and last night was no different, with three new pairings playing together. Hopefully the team can get a stable and consistent line-up for the upcoming matches.

The next match is against South Leicestershire Mixed 4 on Monday 9th November.
