Since its launch, Croakers' website has received over 23k page views, which is pretty impressive for a small badminton club.
The website has helped promote Croakers to a wider audience and has played a key role in helping to recruit new members during the last twelve months. A number of these new recruits have already contributed to a successful Mens 2 campaign this season. Lee, who designed and administers the website, said, “When asking guests where they heard about Croakers, it’s always pleasing to hear that they contacted us via our website. It just goes to show how useful a website can be to any sports club, large or small.” The website also provides a hub for club members to access the fixture list, division reports, match reports and club news. Here’s to another successful twelve months. Please get in touch with one of our committee members if you have any comments or suggestions for the website. January is here and we have reached the halfway point of the season. Let's take a look at the latest League division reports and see how our teams are progressing.
Just a quick message to all members and guests.

Thanks to Carole and her able assistant David, for braving the League’s fixtures night and escaping in one piece – your efforts are appreciated. After three weeks of resting and enjoying the lovely British summer (ahem) the new season is here.
We will continue to play all of our club nights at Brockington College on Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The first of which took place on Thursday 27th August. Our home league matches will continue to be played at Rolleston Primary School on Mondays from 7.00pm and Brockington College on Thursdays from 7.30pm. A full fixture list will be available in September before the start of the league season. The summer is over and Croakers now takes a three week break, with the first club night of the new season starting on 27th August. Our summer period, which runs from May to July, has been very successful. Club nights have been well attended, with many new faces visiting for the first time and showing interest in joining Croakers next season. It does appear that the new website has helped promote Croakers to a wider audience. Following the AGM, club fees for next season have been revised too. The senior annual fee, covering August to July, is only £155 if you join before the end of September. Click here to see the revised fees for 2015/16. Here’s to a prosperous 2015/16 season. The season is over, but the doors remain open at Croakers during the summer period. This provides an opportunity for anyone, including those whose club closes over the summer, to play competitive games in a friendly environment.
Our summer fee costs just £50 and runs from May to the end of July. Alternatively our guest fee is £5 a night if you are unable to commit. Guest fees paid will be deducted from the summer fee. Please come and join us or contact Henri to find out more. |
